Affiliate marketing has always been a very competitive arena, where affiliates never ever share their secrets and strategies on how to earn money.Saying that, I do understand this secrecy, but when it comes to defending your market and to fight against practises that will eventually destroy your market, you would think that all affiliates would unite in this great effort-sadly tis not so!Affiliates by nature are very selfish, and tend to worry only about themselves!They also tend to stay out of the line of fire, as they don’t want to get terminated from any programs, if they decide to become vocal on their objections against merchants or Networks for their cheating ways.
Why would they act this way, when we as affiliates are faced with the great prospect of eventually being written out of the marketing script.It will not be a total write out, but one in which we only survive on crumbs-do you want this?It is the unethical practises of the Affiliate Networks, Merchants, and those sites that present toolbars to the stupid online shopper, that ends up installing them on their computer.It seems that when a call to action in the affiliate community is put forth, a great number of affiliates madly scurry to their little holes in the ground, like scared rabbits escaping the big bad wolves of the internet.They may be safe today, but by not uniting and defeating these commission stealing wolves, they are only delaying the inevitable-and that is that all scared little ball-less rabbits will eventually be dug out of their holes and devoured.So to all those affiliates that are too scared to do anything, do me favour and grow a SACK!Your comrades need you, the life of the market we know today needs you, so as to insure it will be here for us in the future!
