Banners-Text Links-Ads will not be enough to get massive amounts of traffic to rival eBay!Instead, you must focus on one thing and one thing alone!

eBay the mighty giant, who knows no boundaries, mercessesly crushes affiliates and sellers under it’s feet, in order to grab the great shinny pot of gold!It’s really sad and disgusting that such a giant of a company, has started devouring and plundering from the very people that have helped in propelling eBay to such status in business.But every since John Donahue, has taken charge, it’s almost as if eBay has become a rabid dog, out of control.It’s just a matter of time before this greedy, lunatic giant of a company, comes falling to the ground, but enough about that!This post is geared to those sites that have started up, to compete with eBay!Due to all the negative changes at eBay, many new sites have emerged onto the scene.Many sellers have already jumped ship, and made the transition!However their is one main sticking point!

They are not making the same kind of profits that they made at good old eBay!It’s not that the products are any different, just the traffic!The thing that I have noticed with all new eBay competitors, is that most of them have no affiliate programs.The ones that do, seem to think that simple banners and text links are good enough to drive traffic to their sites.While these methods will bring in a few people, it will not happen over night!eBay is like a drug addiction, and until Bonanzle and the rest of these new sites, discover how to create a “The Newest Addiction In Town” they will move very slowly toward becoming a real threat to eBay!So here’s a few words of advise to Bonanzle and the rest!

Banners, text links etc are not good enough to beat eBay!What you must do, is create a affiliate program that will allow products to be fed to the affiliates website.If your familiar with Phpbay Pro, or Bans, you will have noticed that these types of sites have auctions on show, and can present any number of products from eBay on their sites!This allows these site owners to write about them in their blogs, recommend products etc etc.All in all, they are driving huge amounts of traffic to eBay!So realistically you need to create a script that can be used on these affiliates sites!If you can do this, then you would become a success overnight!Affiliates can propel your site to the heavens, but you must create the right set-up to allow this!Banners and links are not the solution-featuring your products on their sites is the solution.Now you know the answer, get to work!
